An excursion along Capo Palinuro‘s promontory to discover caves, gorges and beaches: this is one of the most beautiful marine landscapes on the Mediterranean coast. A boat trip to enjoy the south coast of the Cilento National Park with a visit to Palinuro’s caves and a pleasant bathing stop at the Beach of Good Sleep. With its five tips, Capo Palinuro hosts four marine grottoes: the Blue Cave, the Blood Cave, the Cave of the Monks, and the Sulfur Cave, which can be visited by boat., like the Bones Cave and the Natural Arch.

Among the olive groves of the green hills and the crystal blue sea, Palinuro has always fascinated travelers of all ages, such as Virgil, who tells of an impetuous promontory in the verses of his Aeneid.

Among the most beautiful beaches in the Cilento there are Palinuro’s wide and sandy beaches, with their Blue Flag. Among the most popular beaches in Palinuro are the Saline Beach, the Dune Beach and the Natural Bow, as well as the Buondormire beach, accessible only by sea.

At night, Palinuro is transformed into a pedestrian area with clubs, bars and ice-cream parlors and attractions: it is a very popular destination for young people for its nightclubs; there are certainly some typical restaurants where you can enjoy fish dishes and the typical Cilentana cuisine.

One of the most important events is The Night of Myth that runs every August 23rd and celebrates the passage of ships fleeing from the city of Troy.
